Fentanyl Test Strips
The Rapid Response Fentanyl Test Strip is an easy-to-use tool to detect fentanyl in liquid or powder drug samples.
Testing Procedure

Place a small amount (5-10 mg) of the drug into a clean container.

Add 5 mL of water and mix until dissolved.

Hold the strip by the blue end, where the product name (FYL) is printed. Do not touch the white section of the strip

Holding the strip vertically, dip the wavy end of the test strip into the liquid for 15 seconds. Do not dip past the solid maximum line.

Remove the strip. Place it on a flat, non-absorbent surface for 5 minutes.

Read the results. Do not read the results after 10 minutes.
Results Interpretation
Positive- Fentanyl DetectedOnly one colored line appears in the control region (C). No apparent line appears in the test region (T). |

Negative- Fentanyl Could Not be DetectedTwo colored lines appear on the test strip. One line appears in the control region (C) and another line appears in the test region (T). |

InvalidControl line does not appear. If a control line does not appear after 5 minutes, the test must be thrown away. Review the testing procedure and repeat with a new test. |
